Due to the emergence of a number of pedigrees published by improvised canine associations, containing incorrect data on the origin of dogs, please pay attention to the content of the documents. This applies especially to the purchase of new breeding dogs and the use of these to cover your bitches with pedigrees from other canine associations. Thanks to previous checks, unnecessary disappointments are avoided.
If, after submitting the pedigree to register the dog or register the litter, we refuse to register it or release puppy pedigrees. It happens, among other things, that in the dog’s pedigree, for example, Toy Poodle breeds appear in its next generations of mixed-breed dogs, Samoyeds in Golden Retrievers, Shih Tzus in Yorkshire Terriers, etc.
Attempts to remedy these errors usually end with the definitive release by the association that created the source document of the pedigree of dogs without origin, i.e. without genealogy. This will result in the refusal to register them or the refusal to issue pedigrees for puppies in WDF.
Please remember that the Kennel Club members of the WDF maintain the unchanged policy of not registering as purebred dogs without documented multigenerational origin. This also applies to the refusal to issue pedigrees for puppies after delivery to the new owners without having declared the birth practice.
This type of case happens more and more often. For this reason we kindly ask you to pay particular attention to the documents and carry out accurate checks to avoid further unnecessary inconveniences.
In case of doubt, the offices of the WDF Kennel Clubs are at your disposal.
